Safety Manager **Location:** Beasley, TX, United States, 77417 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_** **_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_** + Directs, develops and oversees general safety policy and procedures + Ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local or industry specific regulations + Manages the Safety and Health function to meet our Safety Policy + Responsible for the promotion of Safety and Health of the Beasley Operation + Ensures Safety Audits are conducted on a weekly basis and provides management with metrics to improve + Participates and/or leads incident investigations for compliance to safety standards + Adapts to operational needs and addresses immediate concerns of the manufacturing environment + Plan and direct safety orientation, skills trainings, emergency plans and job specific safety training + Collects and analyzes safety related data to reduce and prevent workplace accidents and improve overall facility safety record + Manage Safety team and budget **_Your Education Should Be…_** **Minimum Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or similar degree preferred. In lieu of not having a bachelors degree, additional 2 years of Safety Experience for assoicates or an addtional 4 years of safety experience with no degree. **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** **WORKING CONDITIONS:** + Moderate Indoor Office Environment + Moderate Outdoor/Shop Environment + Noisy/Loud Shop Environment **REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:** + Safety Glasses + Steel Toe Shoes + Ear Plugs + Hard Hat (when needed) + Gloves (when needed) + Face Shield (when needed) **Occasional exposure to** + Heights + Confined spaces **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. **_Your Professional Experience Should Be…_** **Minimum Experience:** 5-8 years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing industry.
