The Senior Construction Manager will work at our heavy industrial project site located in Michigan.

Particular responsibilities may vary by project; however, they essentially include:

Responsible for overall field operations of a project from the standpoint of scheduling, contracts, conformances to drawings, specifications, and customer relations.

Ability to work independently and utilize value judgment without supervision.

Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval working with the Project Manager.

Utilizes expertise to ensure contractor work is correct, safe, and meets the intent of the drawings.

Maintain comfortable business type relations with the clients.

Meet project schedule.

Provide proper correspondence with clients such that all project issues are handled in a clear, concise and friendly manner.

Maintain responsive, smooth relations with parallel operation within The Perry Group.

Maintains on-site records and files per The Perry Group document control requirements.

Understand The Perry Group Quality Policy Statement.

The Senior Construction Manager shall have the following:

Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree or,

Twelve (12) or more years of relevant experience with an Associate degree or,

Fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.

The Bachelors or Associate degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar technical field.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

The Senior Construction Manager will work at our heavy industrial project site located in Michigan.

OSHA30 certification

experience leading large scale, heavy industrial projects including varying subcontractor disciplines

**Background Check and Drug Testing Information:**

CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as CDM Smith) reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions.
