If so, our Credit Analyst position could be the perfect opportunity As a Credit Analyst, your responsibilities would include conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit information of larger and more complex loan requests. This position will also prepare credit approval documents for presentation to loan officers and/or committees. If you want to join a motivated team, C&N is a great place to grow your career

You will be responsible for:

  1. Detailed research, financial spreading, extensions, and credit analysis of credit requests for larger and more complex existing and prospective borrowers.
  2. Preparing loan approvals, annual reviews, and conducting credit analysis for new requests, in addition to modifications and extensions of existing loans.
  3. Investigating all available sources of credit and financial information, including report services, credit bureaus, industry trends, and other companies.
  4. Preparing annual reviews on borrowing relationships in accordance with C&N Bank's loan policy.
  5. Serving as a senior-level Credit Administration resource.
  6. Assisting in the assignment of risk ratings.
  7. Calling on existing and potential borrowers with lenders to solicit new loan and deposit relationships or to monitor the borrower's ongoing creditworthiness.


Requirements:

You will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field AND 6-8 years of previous related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

You will demonstrate well-developed abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Developed analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify strengths and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in conducting thorough research.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of accounting standards and experience working with tax returns.
  • Managerial skills.
