Your work will change lives, including your own. Recursions Returnship Program The Returnship program is sponsored by the Women at Recursion Employee Resource Group. It supports STEM professionals who have taken a hiatus of two or more years, providing a learning environment with mentors, teamwork, and weekly seminars on workplace culture, communication and technology. The sixteen?week program runs from February 2026 through the end of May 2026, primarily at the Salt Lake City headquarters with hybrid flexibility. Successful returners may transition to full?time employment based on performance. Product Returnship Recursions Product team translates company?level strategy into internal development initiatives. As a Returnship Participant you will help build the industrys first truly industrialized drug discovery engine. Working alongside Recursions Product team within the OS Hub, you will: Define the product vision for a core discovery?enabling product within the Recursion OS Partner closely with biologists, chemists, data scientists, and engineers to advance the early pipeline through the development of methods for target identification and hit identification Define and prioritize product requirements to improve semi?automated evaluation systems Plan and coordinate delivery of complex, high?impact initiatives Articulate strategy and progress to stakeholders at all levels, from individual scientists to leadership, ensuring alignment and excitement around our shared vision. The Experience Youll Need This role is for individuals on a career hiatus of two or more years from the STEM industry. We seek candidates with a foundational background and a passion for learning. 3+ years of professional experience in at least one of the following domains:Scientific: laboratory, academic research, or clinical operations Technical: software development, data science, informatics, or technical program management Product: Product Management, Product Marketing, Strategy, or equivalent business roles Scientific Curiosity: a deep curiosity about biological science and an appetite for learning complex drug discovery processes and terminology Stakeholder Management: experience managing the expectations and conflicting priorities of diverse stakeholders to align them on a unified goal Customer Empathy & Discovery: demonstrated ability to apply a customer? or user?centric mindset by actively seeking to understand pain points, unmet needs, or user workflows to define critical problems worth solving The Recursion Community Our people are our secret sauce.
