Must Haves:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach, preferably in data and analytics projects.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in a data environment - with a good grasp of data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake).
  • Certification in Scrum Master or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and coaching skills to effectively lead teams and stakeholders through Agile processes.
  • Expertise in JIRA
  • Ability to foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and accountability.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and coach a Scrum team dedicated to building innovative data assets. The ideal candidate will facilitate our teams Agile journey, ensuring that Scrum ceremonies are effectively conducted and that the team adheres to Agile practices to achieve high performance and deliver value continuously.

What Youll Do

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies - including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring full team engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile practices - by guiding the team on the principles of Scrum and Kanban, and by helping to create an environment conducive to team self-organization.
  • Remove roadblocks - by identifying and addressing barriers to progress, facilitating discussions, and promoting problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment - by supporting a culture of openness, courage, and respect.
  • Coach team members - on Scrum, Agile methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Serve as a liaison - between studio teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.
  • Support product backlog management - with the Product Manager, helping to ensure that it is well-defined and prioritized.
  • Facilitate effective conflict resolution - within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Promote a learning culture - within the team, encouraging professional growth and knowledge sharing on Agile, data technologies, and industry trends.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with product ownership and data management including understanding of data governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, contributing to the automation of the data pipeline and continuous delivery efforts.
  • Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks (e.g., Lean, XP) for a broader approach to Agile transformation.
