What does your company do?Job SummaryThe Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.ResponsibilitiesEmpower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and funTeach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship valuesSupervise the overall operation of designated sport on game dayPositively engage with kids and parents with a positive attitude and superior customer service skillsReferee games as neededCross-train with other sports (flag football, baseball) to assist as neededQualifications Excellent communication skillsSport-specific coaching experience & knowledgeHighly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problemsAwareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of playersPositive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationshipsAbility to work Saturdays 7am - 2pm (for the full duration of the season, 7 weeks)Benefits/Perks A team-based atmosphere with a focus on FunBe a role model for young athletesOnline training opportunitiesLearn more about a career in sportsBe sure to opt-in to texting so we can reach out to youEach franchised location is independently owned and operated and is solely and exclusively responsible for determining local hiring decisions, compensation, benefits, and other terms of employment.Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourWith over 3.5 million registrations in communities across the country, i9 Sports is the nation's largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based youth sports programs.
