**Description**

Nazdar is currently hiring a **Procurement Buyer** to join the team at our Corporate office in **Shawnee, KS**. We are seeking a results-oriented, deadline-driven individual with strong organization skills and attention to detail to join our supply chain team. The Procurement Buyer would be responsible for reviewing and processing purchase order requirements generated from software in a timely manner. This individual will also assist team in procurement related activities as needed.

***Responsibilities:***

* Reviews vendor ship planning lines for shipping and date accuracy.

* Processes all purchase orders directly to the suppliers.

* Confirms and updates system for purchase order accuracy on pricing and shipping confirmations.

* Reviews and updates past due vendor ship purchase orders.

* Communicate challenges to supervisor.

* Assumes responsibility for other projects or duties as assigned.

* Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.

* Assist with other duties as directed by supervisor.

***Qualifications:***

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Strong attention to detail.

* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities.

* Works well in a fast-paced environment and able to maintain deadlines.

* Purchasing or customer service experience and/or training an advantage
