Position Purpose:

The Financial Analyst - Supply Chain Finance will support supply chain volume forecasting, planning and reporting for each of the supply chain channels. This role will work cross-functionally with merch finance and FP&A groups to manage supply chain flow and educate business partners on trends. This role will also work on numerous longer-term ad hoc projects to enable process improvements, enhance accuracy and add visibility to what is a complex supply chain.

This position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The Financial Analyst will interact with Finance, Accounting, and business partners in Merchandising.

Duties in this position may include, but are not limited to, preparing monthly and ad hoc reporting for leadership, managing forecast inputs, fielding questions from business partners, and providing other Finance teams with supply chain related support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs economic and financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to sales, gross margin, rate of return, working capital, investment, financial performance, and other financial metrics.
  • Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of developed data.
  • Conducts special financial and statistical studies as directed in coordination with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies.
  • Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • This position typically reports to a Senior Financial Analyst.
  • This position typically has no direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Strong financial analysis, strategic thinking, and presentation skills
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Technically proficient in Tableau and GBQ/SQL is preferred
  • Strong ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Acts with urgency; is decisive and action-oriented; sets aggressive goals and achieves them; creates accountability
  • Has a passion for excellence and process improvement; provides the highest quality results to meet customers' need
Minimum Education:
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
