ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and program all security infrastructure systems related hardware and software independently.
Troubleshoot and diagnose security infrastructure systems and work with field technicians to achieve best system performance.
Perform system set up in the field (connection and component level).
Resolve customer service issues independently and as a part of a team.
Interact with external and internal customers via telephone, email and in person independently and promote a positive customer service atmosphere.
Perform or assist in new hire training and cross training.
Backup BSOC work as necessary in order to maintain central station skill sets.
Perform other duties and specialized projects as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
High school diploma with equivalent work experience, college degree preferred.
Experience with electronic security systems (alarm panels, cameras, DVR, etc.), experience with existing internal systems and processes is a plus.
Self-motivated problem solver with demonstrated technical and analytical skill set.
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
Successful completion of relevant manufacture/vendor training and on the job training (ex: PACOM, March Networks).
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant IT certifications preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
General office environment in a Central Station setting, with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
Minimal domestic and international travel may be required.
Extended viewing of computer monitors/screens.
This position will require working in a shift environment, Saturday and/or Sunday and Holidays.
