Company DescriptionEnerex is Retail Energy's trusted data platform, providing secure connectivity the entire value chain: Brokers, Suppliers, Agents, Customers and Utilities to drive efficient transactions.Our flagship service, Sparkplug is the #1 retail energy sales platform in the world, powering over 10% of US commercial and industrial (C&I) transactions.Our other products and services compose a comprehensive platform for retail energy suppliers, brokers, agents and customers.Job DescriptionResponsible for gathering technical specifications so that the product can be developedTranslates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.Coordinate with Dev/Architecture effort and assess if the technical implementation meets the requirements inputCreating and "continually" prioritizing the product and system requirementsCreates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.Act as primary intermediary between the Platform Product Manager and the development team throughout a project's life cycle.Defining and balancing features, bugs, technical debt, and coordinating system level featuresSupport teams in achieving their timelines and deliverablesAssess if the product built satisfies customers' needsQualifications3+ years of Business Analyst experience, including product discovery and requirements gathering, or a combination of education and experienceIdeally, 3+ years of experience in the energy industry (electricity, natural gas, utilities) or a combination of education and experienceBachelor's degreeAzure DevOps (TFS)Writing specifications using use cases particularly for softwareWorking to design and improve User Interface (UI) and User eXperience (UX) needsAdditional InformationEnerex is a company based on values and our core values reflect how we treat our customers and our team members.
