We are seeking an experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland. Job Details Location: Maryland Facility Type: Academic Medical Center, NICU Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 36 days Provider Type Needed: Neonatology Nurse Practitioner Schedule: 6-8 shifts per month; 12-hour shifts (primarily 7pm-7:30am with some 7am-7:30pm); 30-minute sign out; no 24-hour shifts Responsibilities and Duties Provide advanced practice care to neonates in a NICU environment Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections Manage NICU patients in collaboration with attending physicians, fellows, and other advanced practice providers Participate in a team-based model: days, nights Coordinate with full subspecialty support Complete EMR documentation using Epic Adhere to all institutional protocols and evidence-based NICU guidelines Additional Information Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland Neonatology board certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required Assignment does not include transport responsibilities Must be able to work independently without procedural training Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
