Thank you for considering a career at Bon SecoursScheduled Weekly Hours:36Work Shift: Days/Afternoons (United States of America)Endoscopy Technician - Scope Washer - Memorial Regional Medical Center**Full time endoscopy scope washer (36 hours/week) with no weekends, holidays, or call**Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of PositionPerform competent inspection and reprocessing of all re-usable endoscopy supplies, instruments, and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for reprocessing in Endoscopy. Ensure that all re-usable endoscopy supplies, instruments, and equipment are tracked and stored in accordance with policy and procedures.Required Minimum Education:High School Diploma or GEDBLS (preferred upon hire)Minimum Years and Type of Experience:Work experience with sterilization/high level disinfection, automated endoscope re-processor (AER), and infection control principles is preferred. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of infection control principles. Ability to maintain accurate documentation as required.
