About the Role:

As a Commodity Trader Assistant, youll support our traders by managing the logistics of large lumber shipments and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries for our customers. Your role will involve coordinating with traders, customers, and suppliers while maintaining clear communication and project organization. Advanced computer skills, especially in Excel, along with strong time management, are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on-site 45 days per week.
  • Review and process purchase orders, oversee delivery logistics, and update inventory.
  • Maintain project statuses and shipment schedules in shareable formats.
  • Develop and update project timelines and schedules.
  • Compile data and create basic reports to support traders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports for traders.
  • Assist traders with daily operational needs.
