POSITION PURPOSE
The Global Head of Engineering & HSE is responsible for executing agreed Strategies and Engineering / HSE activities in line with Product Supply and business objectives. The role is a key member of the Product Supply leadership team.

HSE

The safety of our colleagues

The reputation of the organisation

Regulatory compliance

Develop High Performing Site Engineering and HSE Teams including associate career development plans.

Manage and continuously improve the Engineering and HSE performance of OPs.

Manage the multiyear Capital expenditure plan for Product Supply.

Ensure Engineering & HSE SME support as required.

Interpret the multi-year Product Supply Roadmap into clearly articulated site master plans, recapitalization plans and long term strategic plans in both the areas of Engineering and HSE.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Own the process of Engineering and HSE across the organization, design and develop the strategy and related policies and driving a community approach across the organization to ensure the implementation of the strategy.

Design a site Engineering and HSE blueprint organization, establishing fundamental engineering, sustainability and HSE processes and develop capabilities in the sites.

In collaboration with Site Cluster heads ensure standardization is ensured across the sites.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

Degree in engineering (Dipl. Ing. or M.Sc. or B.Sc.) or equivalent

Fluent in English, spoken and written. Local languages desirable

15 years of general engineering and HSE experience thereof +10 years experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
