Soft Skills:

Must have delivered projects in DROOLS:
  • The require a hands-on developer to deliver DROOLS-based development.
  • DROOLS is an open-source technology by JBoss used in rules-based implementation.
  • This developer should have current hands-on experience with Core Java, Generics, Collections, Concurrency, Design Patterns; experience with testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG/Fitnesse) and concepts (Test Driven Development, Regression and Parametric testing); knowledge of various configuration /source code management tools (SVN, Maven, Git); and developing software in Agile environment.
  • Own technical delivery of the Drools Engine based Program.
  • On-site and offshore coordination of the development
  • Understand, analyze and evaluate client suggested solution framework and suggest any improvements.
  • Help development and QA teams offshore and on-site to deliver the solution.
  • Provide technical guidance to the teams.
  • Schedule and run technical support meetings within TCS and with the offshore and/or on-site customer teams.
  • Represent TCS technical team in client meetings.
  • Participate in TCS internal as well as client meetings.
  • Be compliant with all the TCS and Client training.
  • Maintain timely communication with the team.
  • Be available to the project teams, TCS as well as customer, over the core working hours and overlapping hours with offshore and on-site.
