Under general supervision of the Store Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance for the sales associates. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Responsible for maintaining a friendly and professional environment by greeting and acknowledging every customer and coworker that approaches. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable while abiding by all safety guidelines. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Perform any other duties as directed by management. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

Coach and counsel your sales associates; meet daily with your sales team; offer them the advice, support, motivation, or information they need in order to help them meet their sales objectives; supervise the sales floor; make sure your salespeople are doing everything they should be doing to successfully sell; it is your responsibility to see that the sales floor operations functions smoothly; work directly with customers and employees across all departments; assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations; work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met; answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses; emphasize product features based on analyses of customers’ needs; help locate or obtain merchandise for customers; describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers; knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products; use excellent customer relations. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs; sales experience required; excellent Storis knowledge required; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years to be an approved driver. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion. Heavy Work:

Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects. Work Environment:

Works in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.
