Knowledgeable tax preparer, CPA or CPA Candidate is needed to fill a permanent position with a multi-office CPA firm in Morehead City, North Carolina. Exceptional work environment with opportunities for career advancement. To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Qualified candidates should submit resume and compensation requirements.

The candidate selected for this position will receive an aggressive salary based on experience, rewarded for individual performance, and have the opportunity to build long-term mutually beneficial relationships while working within an expanding firm.

Responsibilities and Duties

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Analysis and adjustment of clients' financial records
  • Preparation and review of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
  • Strategic tax planning and delivery of high quality tax services
  • Management of tax authority notices and audits
  • Research of complex tax issues and development of solutions
Qualifications and Skills

Position Requires:
  • Minimum of 3 years public accounting experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals
  • Excellent client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, organizational and written/verbal communication skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • UltraTax and AccountingCS software experience are preferred
