Objectives: Responsible for maintaining production facilities and utilities, reducing Unplanned Loss (UL) and Scheduled Loss (SL) as per site targets for plant availability at optimized maintenance cost. Responsible for Electrical and Instrumentation equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. Contribute to Small CAPEX, Management of Change & improvement projects. Responsibilities: Maintain production plant and utilities equipment to satisfactory levels, meeting the desired plant performance and availability targets. Monitor and optimize Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Repairs, and Condition Monitoring programs for Electrical and Instrumentation equipment, with a Reliability-centered Maintenance mindset. Review bad actor management program through Reliability Analysis and Root Cause Failure Analysis. Manage spare part availability, optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the team replenishes spare parts for E&I equipment. Administer training & development for in-house contractors and E&I team. Liaise with external agency for regulatory works related to Electrical Switchgear and periodic license renewal activities with Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW). Execute annual contractor performance review/management system. Provide advice or support on E&I topics such as specifications, design, safety instrumented systems, and more to operations and capex projects. Provide support for operational technology (OT) systems such as DCS. Align work processes to BASF Corporate Guidelines and maintain discipline-related documentation for ISO or Responsible Care Audits. Fulfil the following EHS responsibilities: Manage work instructions and maintenance planning to the interests of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection. Provide clarity regarding hazards and control measures in Permit-To-Work, Risk Assessments & Work Instructions to contractors and the team. Conduct & maintain routine safety walks, safety engagement briefing, safety induction training, risk assessment reviews, and statutory requirements. Ensure that any plant changes/modifications are carried out in accordance with the Management of Change procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. At least 1 year experience in the petrochemical industry or related fields. Preference given to candidates with working experience on the following: Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Either construction, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment or instrumentation. Purchasing processes, bid specifications, technical bid evaluation. Keen interest in digitalization of work processes. Enthusiastic about learning and self-development. Focused on problem-solving and conflict resolution. Available on standby after working hours for emergencies. Willing to work on Jurong Island. #J-18808-Ljbffr
