Structural Engineer

Job Description:The candidate will work as a Structural Engineer 1 in a precast/prestressed environment, focusing on project engineering coordination with design firms, modifying CAD and REVIT drawings for manufacturing, checking engineering calculations and designs for accuracy against standards, and resolving design issues. They will also engage in professional development to apply their technical knowledge to projects and support business objectives. Even Simpler: This person is an engineer who helps make sure that building materials are designed correctly using computer programs. They check other people's work to see if it's right and learn new things to get better at their job.Responsibilities:Performing project engineering coordination with subcontracted design firmsand REVIT drawing modifications for use in manufacturingwith support then independently check engineering design calculations and details for accuracy and adherence to Unistress standards and our engineering design processengineering skills to support internal and field remedial efforts to support business objectivesdesign issues from drafting subcontractorsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant engineering field.
