Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Exciting Opportunity for Board-Certified or Experienced Psychiatry Providers Inpatient & Outpatient Care Join our dynamic mental health team as a Psychiatry Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This is a critical role focused on delivering high-quality psychiatric services in inpatient acute units, day treatment centers, and long-term psychiatric facilities. Immediate support is needed on an ongoing basis, offering a stable and rewarding position for dedicated professionals committed to excellence in mental health treatment. Required Skills: Valid BLS certification Experience or strong interest in inpatient psychiatric care Ability to manage 16-18 patients daily on a structured schedule Proficiency in EMR systems: HCS for orders, Fluency Flex for notes Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to work independently, while being part of a coordinated care team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with diverse psychiatric disorders including anxiety, affective, psychotic, and development disorders Prior involvement in acute psychiatric or hospital-based settings Non-licensed or IMLC providers with relevant psychiatric experience Additional certifications such as CPR or advanced psychiatric credentials Preferred Education and Experience: Board Certification in Psychiatry strongly preferred At least 1-3 years of clinical experience in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric settings Graduate degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Other Requirements: Availability to start immediately, with flexible morning start times but required team presence at 9:00 am Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Support from NP staff in the hospital environment No requirement for further telemedicine or consult responsibilities Safety and security measures are in place, including CPI-trained staff and secure treatment areas Position involves working with hospital beds, with minimal admissions/discharges ( 2 per day), and managing a typical patient load This is a compelling opportunity for dedicated psychiatry professionals seeking a meaningful role in inpatient care.
