We provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnosis in the most functional setting there is - a person's own home and community.

We are looking for experienced Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who want to provide truly patient-centered care in the Denver, CO area - with PRN positions that accept patients for the duration of their stay available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

PAY: $40-$50 an hour based on education and experience

Responsibilities:

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:


Evaluation, treatment and education of neuro-rehab patients including planning, organizing and coordination of recreation activities, functional leisure skills, and leisure education. Assess capabilities/interests/barriers. Monitor progress and recommend changes/modifications to program as required. Perform home assessments and assist the patients with transition to home and community.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Completion of Bachelor's in Therapeutic Recreation and CTRS designation is required. Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred. Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required. Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must.
