Plastic Press OperatorWe are seeking a Plastics Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Plastics Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring plastic extrusion molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products according to specifications.ResponsibilitiesOperate plastic extrusion molding machines to produce plastic parts based on established production schedules and quality standards.Monitor and control the operation of the press, observing gauges, indicators and machine functions to ensure proper functioning and identify any abnormalities.Perform regular quality checks and inspections to verify the product's dimensions, appearance, and overall quality, adhering to defined specifications and quality control procedures.Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and any adjustments made during shift.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment and following proper handling and disposal procedures for plastic materials and waste.Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards to meet customer requirements and maintain consistent product quality.Qualifications and SkillsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control panel operation.Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to always adhere to them.Manufacturing background preferred.Benefits/CompensationFull TimeFirst Shift: 7 AM-3:00 PM M-FSecond Shift: 3:00 PM-11 PM M-FThird Shift: 11 PM-7 AM M-FPay Rate is $16 per hourWeekly pay while employed through Career ConceptsBenefits available while employed through Career ConceptsEOELocationFairview, PAAbout Career Concepts Staffing Services, Inc.Career Concepts is the leading locally owned staffing company in Western Pennsylvania and New York, dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with exceptional opportunities.
