The Warehouse Manager is a critical role that oversees and coordinates warehouse functions in support of the overall productivity of the team, ensuring that materials are available for the installation of foundation, crawl space, basement, and concrete lifting repairs. The Warehouse Manager facilitates an efficient and safe warehouse environment by ensuring that effective processes, procedures, and methods are utilized.Job ResponsibilitiesManages the inventory and distribution of materials to crews, customer work locations, and within the warehouseEnsures a safe and clean work environmentOrganizes inventory area and tool room in the warehouse based on operational best practicesSupervises and manages warehouse staffEnsures the receipt, coordination, and quality of goods coming into and going out of the warehouseEnsures that deliveries arrive on schedule and that the proper quantities are availablePrepares materials for upcoming jobs by staging materials in advanceCoordinates with branch leadership to ensure that the warehouse is prepared to support sales, service and production teams in peak seasonWorks with all departments and locations across the organizationInterprets, references, and prepares reports related to warehouse operations.Builds relationships crucial to the success of the organizationManages a fleet of vehicles and service of fleet vehiclesPrioritizes conflicting needs, handles issues expeditiously, and proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completionAbility to operate or be trained to operate a forkliftOccasional travelOther duties as assignedQualifications2-5 Years of warehouse management experienceKnowledge of current OSHA and Forklift Operators license preferred but not requiredKnowledge and understanding of structural foundations, waterproofing and products is a plusExcellent communication skills both written, oral/verbal requiredAbility to drive light commercial vehicles as requiredProficient with standard office equipment: computers, tablets, Microsoft software, printers, scanners, etc.Valid driver's license requiredPhysical RequirementsThis position is manual and physical in nature. This position requires regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying heavy objects of 50 lbs. or more. and may require walking and standing for extended periods of time.
