The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. This role requires collaboration with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures. This position involves assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care. The CNC participates in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service. Key responsibilities include: Supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary Assisting with staff scheduling and managing labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines Collaborating with colleagues to operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives In addition to these responsibilities, the CNC provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. This may involve recommending courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization. Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date STABLE certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date Registered Nurse licensure and education degree (Masters, Bachelors, or Associate) Neonate Resuscitate or Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date Mother Baby RN experience required Benefits
