Innovate Physical & Occupational Therapy PLLC is an outpatient orthopedic therapy private practice in Sugar Land, and Missouri City, Texas. *This position is open to Occupational Therapists with or without hand experience who are willing to learn and be mentored. *We are therapist owned and have a high commitment to serving the therapy needs of the Sugar Land and Missouri City area. We are looking for therapists who do not want to work for a corporate model. We have several physician relationships in the area. Our company culture strives on working in a fun and welcoming environment but at the same time providing high flexibility for patients. We go above and beyond for our clients in the Sugar Land, Missouri City, and Houston area. We are looking for a committed Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist to help foster some of our current physician relationships as well as build new ones. The position is for a full time or part time position. This position also offers an opportunity to be mentored by multiple CHT's with over 20 years experience in heavy trauma and elective surgery. We have three Certified Hand Therapists onsite. This position is also open to Occupational Therapists with or without hand experience who are willing to learn and be mentored. This position may require travel between the Sugar Land and Missouri City locations. *Responsibilities* * Provide client centered therapy * Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients motion and mobility * Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques * Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions * Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally * Promote clients healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination * Communicate progress towards Occupational Therapists, Physicians and medical staff * Document patient care services in a timely manner *Skills* * Therapist must want to help people in need * Provided skilled manual therapy to help restore shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand ROM * Ability to make static and dynamic splints for injury, stretch, and or protection * If therapist has no hand experience, is willing to learn how to make splints * Proven work experience as an Occupational Therapist * Flexible in handling customer service issues * Therapist must be able to work in a team environment and communicate well with other staff members * Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities * Current knowledge of treatment practices * Drive to continually learn and grow * Therapist must display professional behavior * Timely and efficient documenting skills * Must be able to multi-task * Excellent time management skills * Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas * Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Continuing education credits * Dental insurance * Health insurance * License reimbursement * Paid time off * Vision insurance Education: * Bachelor's (Required) License/Certification: * Occupational Therapy License (Required) Work Location: In person by Jobble
