Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer who will play a crucial role in
building, customizing, and maintaining our online store on the Shopify platform.
The ideal candidate will be a Shopify whiz with a strong foundation in front-end
development languages and frameworks, a passion for clean and efficient code,
and a keen eye for responsive design. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly e-commerce experiences that drive sales and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate design mockups, wireframes, and user stories into functional and responsive Shopify themes.
  • Develop and customize Shopify themes from scratch or by leveraging existing templates, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with business goals.
  • Implement front-end features and functionalities specific to Shopify, including product pages, shopping carts, checkout experiences, and user accounts.
  • Integrate third-party Shopify apps and plugins to enhance store functionality and user experience.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to Shopify best practices and Liquid templating language.
  • Optimize the Shopify store for speed and responsiveness across various devices and platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and data flow within the Shopify platform.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs on the Shopify storefront to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, theme development best practices, and front-end development trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify theme development projects.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including a modern front-end framework like React or Vue.js).
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design (RWD) principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience working with the Shopify platform and Shopify Liquid templating language.
  • Experience integrating third-party Shopify apps and plugins is a plus.
  • Experience with web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with headless Shopify and server-side rendering is a plus.
  • Familiarity with build tools and version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
