This position will offer students hands-on project exposure to a variety of transportation projects across the Midwest, and there may be an opportunity for field work depending on specific project needs and locations. Responsibilities:

  • Office Work/Design
    • CAD Work on highway improvement plans
    • Compile documentation consistent with current DOT standards
    • Project plan, quantities & specifications development
  • Assist in survey or field inspection/staking operations or related duties

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree (or related) in Civil Engineering is preferred
  • A valid drivers license required
  • Prior experience in the transportation field preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • A desire to learn more about transportation engineering projects in a consulting industry
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

  • Paid Time Off All full-time employees will receive, at minimum, 17 days (thats 3+ weeks) of paid time off in the first year alone.
  • Paid Holidays MSA offers time off pay for 8 holidays in every calendar year.
  • Paid Parental Leave Both parents will receive 2 weeks of paid time off and birth parents are eligible for additional paid time off under MSAs Short Term Paid Leave. The paid 2 weeks of time also applies to adoption and foster care placement.
