Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in companies that are aligned to Activant's thesis areas and investment criteria. Lead and support due diligence process, by developing financials models, writing investment memos and presentations; guide opportunities through investment process. Support execution of investment transactions. Collaborate with portfolio companies through ongoing communication, thought partnership, impactful introductions, hands-on problem solving, review of operating results, and development of relevant board materials. Represent Activant at external events, conferences, meetups, and forums; foster authentic relationships to grow Activant's ecosystem of experts, executives, industry influencers, and portfolio companies both existing and prospective. Make improvements to proprietary data science platform and implement new tools to increase internal efficiency. Job Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Experience in growth equity, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting firms. Experience with financial modeling and analysis. High level of proficiency in synthesizing information and analyses to build investment cases and presentations.
