As a Manufacturing Technician you will:
- Use traveler instructions, procedures, drawings, or verbal guidance to carry out production tasks.
- Operate production lines or various machines, overseeing and monitoring machine output.
- Work in an assembly line manner, performing step by step procedures.
- Perform tasks such as grinding, sanding, deburring, and straightening of parts to specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of records and logs.
- May monitor technical equipment or do practical work.
- Assess quality of product output and identify flaws.
- Move material throughout the work area.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Consistently exhibits punctuality, follows supervisor instructions, collaborates effectively with colleagues, adheres to work rules and procedures, complies with company policies and goals, and is open to constructive feedback.
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
The ideal candidate will have:.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- 6 months manufacturing experience or equivalent of education and experience.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Knowledge of hand tools and equipment used in production.
Pay: $18.08 To $23.50 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
