Job Title: High-End Restaurant Interior Project Manager Overview: As a High-End Restaurant Interior Project Manager, you will lead and manage the execution of interior construction projects specifically tailored to high-end dining establishments. Collaborating with renowned chefs, restaurant owners, architects, designers, contractors, and vendors, you will ensure that projects reflect the sophistication, quality, and ambiance expected in upscale dining environments. Your role is crucial in delivering projects that not only meet but exceed the expectations of discerning clientele. Responsibilities: Project Conceptualization and Planning: Work closely with chefs, restaurant owners, and designers to understand their vision, brand identity, and functional requirements. Translate conceptual designs into detailed project plans, considering aesthetics, functionality, and compliance with industry standards. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify opportunities and constraints. Contractor and Vendor Management: Source and engage with contractors, artisans, craftsmen, and specialty vendors known for their expertise in high-end restaurant construction and finishes. Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and budget constraints. Oversee the work of contractors and vendors, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed to maintain project quality and schedule. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop comprehensive project budgets, accounting for all aspects of construction, finishes, furnishings, and equipment. Monitor project expenses closely, identifying cost-saving opportunities and addressing budget variances proactively. Maintain financial transparency and provide regular budget updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with financial goals. Timeline and Schedule Management: Create detailed project schedules, considering critical milestones, lead times for materials, and coordination with other trades. Monitor project progress against timelines, identifying potential delays and implementing strategies to keep the project on track. Coordinate with chefs and restaurant staff to minimize disruptions to daily operations during construction and installation phases. Quality Assurance and Design Integrity: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that construction, finishes, and furnishings meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and design. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, identify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with design intent. Collaborate with designers and chefs to make real-time adjustments and enhancements that enhance the overall guest experience. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for chefs, restaurant owners, designers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular meetings and design reviews to ensure alignment, address concerns, and make timely decisions. Foster a collaborative and inclusive project environment, where all stakeholders feel valued and engaged in the creative process. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience managing high-end restaurant interior projects, with a portfolio showcasing successful completions. Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards, trends, and customer expectations in the restaurant industry. Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and design integrity in every aspect of the project. Flexibility and adaptability to navigate evolving project requirements, timelines, and stakeholder preferences.
