Landscape Nursery Manager

Seeking a seasoned professional to fill an immediate opening as a Nursery Manager. Sinc Nursery Managers play a critical role inimplementing and following best management practices during purchasing, procurement, management, delivery, and quality control of landscape nursery material. Nursery Managerscontribute to our company's over all mission by supporting a safe work environment, responsible stewardship of company assets, and overall excellence in every aspect of our business.
Responsibilities
Perform responsibilities safely, on time and within budget.
Act as the main point of contact for all nursery transactions. Interact with all levels of personnel
Source and purchase plant/ tree material for upcoming projects.
Arrange and manage shipping and logistics.
Manage nursery inventory, implement BMP's for nursery product storage, handling, and installation.
Organize, maintain, and control quality of overall nursery.
Facilitate & make orders and deliveries
Work hand in hand with and along side landscape crews
Drive production schedules. Meet deadlines.
Create and revise systems by analyzing business and construction practices. Work with management to implement changes.
Other duties as assigned or as needed to support staff and keep business / projects running smoothly.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly EXCEL). Duties require professional written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of landscape and irrigation terminology, production means and methods.
Current drivers license. CDL & previous experience towing trailers and hauling equipment and materials is preferred.
Ability to get along with others, manage and motivate others, resolve conflict.
Previous experience in a similar role in the industry installing large commercial landscape and irrigation systems is required.
