Chief Financial Officer

TalentGrid Search has partnered with a $40M manufacturing company in the Macungie, PA area. This role will be instrumental in guiding the financial strategies and accounting practices that support the business objectives. This is a great opportunity to work for a leader in their industry.The CFO will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for managing the accounting team, developing financial strategies, streamlining accounting functions and financial processes, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Key Responsibilities:Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecastsManage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reportsSupervise and manage department staff, including accountant and specialistsPerform necessary month end accounting to close general ledgersPreparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reportedCollaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulationsDevelop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reportsPerform and/or monitor updates of subsidiary transactions to subsidiary ledgers and ultimately to general ledgerReview all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunitiesExamine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepanciesQualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management practicesProficiency with accounting software, databases, and spreadsheetsStrong understanding of business and financial statisticsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLeadership and organizational skillsAbility to manage time effectively and multitask efficientlyDetail-oriented and analytical natureMust be a local candidate.
