Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio is looking to add a Full Time GI Scope Tech who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center Welcome to Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio As a GI Scope Tech at Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment. We take pride in our friendly and supportive work environment, where continuity and trust are nurtured through stable and long-lasting relationships with our patients. While we work collaboratively as a group, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist, ensuring personalized care and attention. GI Scope Tech at Endoscopy Center of Northern Ohio: Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepares equipment and anticipates Physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provides general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Assessing patients prior to procedure. Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy.  QUALIFICATIONS:          High school graduate or equivalent           Current BLS required          Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to healthcare          Strong Customer Service Skills          Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly          Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment          Must be able to function as a team player          Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds          Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal What We Offer: As a valued member of USPI, your health and well‑being are important to us.
