[Assures appropriate staffing by developing work schedules, replacing vacancies and/or performing routine work duties to cover staffing situations.[Coordinates and directs the activities of other employees.[Provides team leadership by addressing questions, exchanging ideas, evaluating complex situations and suggesting solutions and/or jointly arriving at decisions in a positive and timely manner.[Participates in the administration of personnel management activities such as interviewing and hiring, training, discipline and evaluation of staff.[Develops and maintains policies and procedures which are in compliance with all Federal Laws, State Laws and accreditation standards. This may include test performance, competency assessment, proficiency testing, billing, coding, HIPAA, human resources and compliance.[Provides advice to management in the development of long and short term budget, cost study, business goals and activities of the department.[Manages the department so operating expenses are within budget.[Utilizes data collection tools and graphical charts to collate, analyze and report quality management data.
