Develop estimating approach, collect and analyze cost/technical/programmatic data, and develop and refine cost models.
Prepare cost estimates to support critical Planning, Programming, and Budgeting (PPBE) requirements, program reviews, logistic management reviews, acquisition documentation and other management decisions.
Validate, verify, and present estimates.
Support contract evaluation/negotiations and POM/PR issue sheets.
Analyze all phases of the acquisition life cycle (e.g., development, production, and sustainment) and involve state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing techniques, including application of learn/rate curves.
Work requires the modification and extension of existing methodologies and may require the use of advanced techniques.
Position Requirements
A BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Science or Mathematics with three years of experience. Applicant must have as a minimum, a BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Science or Mathematics with 24 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses and at least three years of weapons system acquisition cost analysis experience.
