Touchmark at Fairway Village has an opening in the Transportation department for conscientious, caring, and good-natured part-time Driver This is a one to three day a week job, working between 8-24 hours per week. The shifts will fall on Tuesdays, Wednesdays Thursdays, and every other weekend. The pay range for the job is 18.00 to 22.00 an hour depending on experience.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with the senior population. Excellent communication skills, a commitment to the highest levels of customer service, and someone who is a true team player are critical. We are looking for the right person to fit our team

Candidates must love working with seniors, be customer-service oriented, love being part of a strong and dedicated team, and truly enjoy living a full, energetic life. Drivers must be safe, courteous, willing to obey the rules of the road and Touchmark policies, and able to self-manage their time and routes.

Core Job Responsibility:

  • Seeking part time transportation driver to drive a wheelchair accessible van and to drive our 14 passenger non-CDL bus for grocery shopping, fun outings like going to restaurants, wineries and more.
  • 8-24 hours per week Tuesday - Thursday to take residents to dr. apts, shopping, etc .
  • Customer Service driven
  • Occasional Saturday or Sundays with plenty of notice. The team rotates covering these shifts.
  • Excellent driving record - No moving traffic violations in the past three years;
  • So many perks including daily gratitude from residents and a genuinely positive team environment
  • Practical experience with older adults, a genuine interest in caring for and working with seniors;
  • Will be trained in CPR/First Aid and AIDS certified; we provide this training
  • Vehicle cleaning and sanitization
  • Possess qualities of leadership, responsibility, compassion, and patience
  • Ability to work independently, without supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor with a positive attitude
