We're hiring a Sportsbook Manager to join our dedicated team of professionals. In this role, you'll:
  • Assist the management team in maintaining control and authority over the Sportsbook
  • Lead, drive, energize and motivate entire team
  • Maintain a diligent and professional staff for the Sportsbook
  • Recruit for 'the next role' and facilitate internal progression plan for organizational advancement
  • Verify that staff are adhering to our Standards of Operation
  • Develop comprehensive learning and development tools to effectively educate staff on sportsbook operational procedures
  • Facilitate the continued development and education of staff to elevate operational efficiency
  • Formulate management goals and establish processes to evaluate performance with specific actions plans
  • Employee relations are addressed in a timely fashion and necessary actions are taken to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Work with management to maintain best-in-class compliance methods.
  • Safeguard that our license is protected to the best of your ability - respond immediately to any threats to the license.
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal, local and MGCB regulations
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual audits in a timely manner
  • Protect the Sportsbook through Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and complete all required audits
  • Reconcile cash systems and maintain accurate reporting channels
  • Review financial reports in detail and identify key business and operational findings
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure that the business as a whole is fast to respond
  • Manage change and the introduction of initiatives within the area
  • Collaborate with management on marketing efforts

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of managerial experience working directly with team across multiple locations
  • Previous sportsbook supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have strong computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level I license through the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods at a time
  • Experience in sports or gaming and compliance required
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Maintain high level of professionalism
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at various levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrates poise, tact, judgment and diplomacy
  • 3+ years of managerial experience working directly with team across multiple locations
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to drive both strategy and execution
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be fluent and literate in English
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality
