Tulsa, Ok . This is a
Permanent position

Summary: The Tax Manager is a CPA and has 5 years, minimum, experience in a senior or equivalent role and deemed as appropriate by the Partners. They exhibit technical proficiency and ability to oversee, supervise and complete engagements. The Tax Manager should be viewed as a partner in training and should be involved in virtually all areas for which the partners are responsible.
Responsibilities:
Review staff assignments, making certain they are correct/appropriate.
Be fully familiar with the qualifications of all staff members under their supervision.
Become an expert in their assigned area.
Maintain consistent contact with clients throughout the business year.
Become knowledgeable of all facets of a clients business.
Develop new client relationships beneficial to the firms growth.
Recognize opportunity to provide additional services to existing clientele.
Report to Partners on important developments for each client. Including the major problem areas, personal conclusions and solutions/recommendations.
Staff performance evaluations for the personnel under their supervision.
Develop practice niche.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
CPA
Minimum 5 years experience or equivalent
