Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Material Handler in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton , NY within the Machining industry. Material HandlerJob Summary Pay: $ 18.00 -$20.00 per hour 1st Shift : 7:00 a- 3 :30 p / Mon - Fri Summary: The material handler position is an integral part of the facility operations. This position is responsible for the pick- up and movement of material from one department to another to fulfill the daily and weekly product production needs. Efficiency, attention to detail and safety are key components to this position. Responsibilities: Load and unload finished and unfinished products. Deliver material to designated departments. Pick up finished goods and deliver to specific holding areas. Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc . Pull material to fulfil current order demand for specific departments. Performs other duties as assigned. Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma/GED 2-3 years of material handling or Industry experience preferred. Experience using warehouse equipment.
