Utility/ House Person

Dickie Brennan & Company is a renowned restaurant group in New Orleans, dedicated to preserving the rich history of local cuisine. With our four restaurants located in the picturesque French Quarter, including Palace Cafe, Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse, Bourbon House, and Tableau, we offer a delicious dining experience that is loved by locals and visitors alike. In addition, we also own and operate Acorn Cafe, The Commissary Kitchen + Market, and the historic Pascal's Manale.

Job Overview:
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the whole restaurant including Front of House and Back of House tasks
  • Must be detailed oriented to ensure all projects are fully cleaned and properly completed
  • Assist with various cleaning and general upkeep tasks assigned to them by management
  • Must work independently with minimal supervision to ensure all cleaning duties are completed in a timely fashion
  • Some duties will require collaboration with the team to complete.
  • Must be friendly and welcoming as some duties will require guest interaction.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for all our guests
  • Maintain a strong professional presence and present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, push, pull and grip items when necessary. May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; push, pull or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity is essential. Must possess finger dexterity to use equipment adeptly.
  • Must be able to work varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends and holidays, in accordance with restaurant operations and adhere to the attendance requirements of the company.
  • Ability to adhere to and comply with all rules and regulations of the company.

Qualifications:
  • No formal education required
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
