As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a highly matrix environment. This position serves as a liaison between and among business teams and matrixed partners to gather, document and analyze business requirements, participate in the development of project plans, and implement new programs and products. In this position, you'll be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, implementation, and results of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets. With a strong level of knowledge of ADP products, operating systems, and procedures, you will act as a key contributor in the development and implementation of new or revised ADP products, programs, operating systems, and procedures across all functional areas. This includes bridging client insights into the efforts and projects that you are involved in. You also must demonstrate awareness and understanding of strategic program goals and priorities. Responsibilities: Understands business needs and facilitates/participates in the decision making process when implementing new or revised ADP products, programs, and operating systems/procedures. Lead and execute multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously, ensuring all projects deliver measurable business outcomes. While monitoring and reporting out regularly on key metrics and results to project members and leadership. Drive innovation, best practices, and achievement of strategic objectives Ability to identify, scope, and solve complex business problems, removing roadblocks and proposing recommendations to senior leadership Anticipate downstream impacts across operational, client, and stakeholder groups before making decisions or changes. Work Collaboratively with business and matrixed partners to drive alignment and clarity, proactively surfacing risks and opportunities to ensure successful project completion. Own the end-to-end success of assigned project, from initial concept through implementation and optimization. Accountable for ensuring all functional areas are represented, understands and accepts the impact of the efforts on the business and key stakeholders. Consistently challenge assumptions and bring fresh, critical thinking to both new and existing processes. Communicate insights, recommendations, and results to senior leadership with confidence and clarity through completion of the project. Employs highly developed consultative skills, representing ADP's interests and perspectives while exercising sound judgment on what information to share. Serve as a business advocate in all interactions, ensuring sensitive or proprietary information is protected and decisions prioritize the company's best interests. Proactively engage key stakeholders (internal and external) to align priorities, manage expectations, and drive consensus on complex problems and throughout projects. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, adopt best practices, and champion a culture of ongoing improvement and innovation. Define clear metrics for success for every project, track progress, and pivot strategy based on results and feedback. Provide post project review that includes analysis of project deliverables, results and learnings. Performs other related duties as assigned. To Succeed in this role: Requirements: At least three years of Project Management Experience and/or continuous improvement experience Prior work experience managing medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies Ability to communicate effectively with all levels with internal and external contacts verbally and in writing. Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations. Ability to work and thrive independently and in a team environment, focused on achieving results and meeting deadlines. A natural curiosity to learn and the ability to inspire the same curiosity in others. Proficient using Microsoft Office. College degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include: Experience noted above, OR Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
