We are currently assisting our client, a global leader, with a Senior Human Resources Manager search in the Los Angeles, CA area. The successful candidate will partner with leadership to drive cultural and business improvements. This is a highly visible position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as a member of senior management team setting strategic direction for the success and growth of all businesses
  • Collaborate with business partners to implement strategic initiatives resulting in continuous improvement, enhanced employee engagement, improved working relationships, and positive business results
  • Identify high-performing, high-potential individuals to help build plant bench strength and succession planning
  • Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, attracting, and retaining a talented and skilled workforce
  • Lead and execute programs through local leadership and the Human Resources Managers that build and sustain a culture of high employee engagement and a sense of belonging
  • Research and identify strategic opportunities that position compensation programs and practices as a competitive advantage
  • Partner with senior operational management on the development and implementation of employee communications plans and programs across the operation

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing experience required; ideally 10+ years of experience in challenging senior HR positions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business related degree
  • Human Resources experience supporting a manufacturing environment required
