The solutions offered bythis area have a high impact across the internal NM EngineeringSolutions Delivery (ESD) and enterprise teams, streamlining delivery forengineers across the organization. Key initiatives to include the DataDe-Identification Program and Test Strategy Enablement. OrganizationSummary The Engineering Shared Services (ESS) vision as an integral partof NM\'s software delivery ecosystem though standardization,simplification and automation. We help teams accelerate delivery bysolving problems that matter through innovative shared technologysolutions and keeping NM\'s delivery running smoothly and ensure ourteams are best positioned to do their jobs. About the role: Providetechnical guidance and leadership to the team. Establish, aggregate, andshare team standards and standard practices across the team. Mentor,guide and coach engineers within the team for job performance as well astechnical and leadership growth. Recruit, hire and onboard talent,ensuring the right mix of talent within team. Manage team size / designand budget. Ensure stability, functionality, and on-going improvementfor the team\'s capabilities and service offerings. Partner closely withNM\'s software, infrastructure, security, and data engineers throughoutthe company to deliver shared capabilities that align with NM\'sSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Qualifications: Bachelor\'sDegree in Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience6-8 years of professional experience required 3-5+ years of experienceworking with modern engineering tools, languages and practices. 2-5+years of experience leading engineering teams including: Growingengineering abilities in others. Developing future engineering leaders.Providing direct feedback and performance evaluations. Strongunderstanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Very strongunderstanding of DevOps Proficiency with the design and development ofsoftware products. Proven track record of successfully designing anddelivering significant and impactful technology solutions. Experiencedeveloping and leading solution delivery using agile methods.
