Join our team and let's continue making chocolate lovers happyA typical schedule in this position is M-Thus 5:30 am-4:00 pm.A day in the life...As the Inventory Counter (SAP), you will be responsible for monitoring the issuing, reversing, and returning of material from process orders. Properly accounting for all transactions occurring. You are responsible for effectively ensuring all users are properly issuing to each process order in the production area, including chocolate. You will perform pre-shift, during shift, and end of shift audits of locations and transactions. Additionally, as the Material Handler (SAP) you will be a back-up cycle counter as requested by either Finance, Scheduling, or the Inventory Team. You will also be responsible for wrapping/packaging material, verifying quantities, and moving the material to the appropriate area for storage by warehouse personnel.What you will be doing...Monitoring the use of materials from location to location.Contributes to the orderliness of materials storage area.Maintains inventory by daily audits and reporting shortages.Packages and verifies materials for return to warehouse after the completion of the order.Operates pallet jacks, and other hand tools to move items.Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.Do you have what it takes?(Basic Qualifications)Must have ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift to meet cleaning requirements.Must have good hand-eye coordination and possess motor skills enabling mobility and quick reflexes.Must have visual/hearing ability sufficient to recognize or detect warning devices/signs.Must have ability to routinely lift 50lbs.Noisy environment.Body strain from repeated motion.Do you stand above the rest?(Preferred Qualifications)Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP/ERPWhat it's like at the Russell Stover PlantsSafety. Your safety is important to us, so we provide protective gear. We also go through an in-depth Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training on your first day and continue to share safety tips daily.Surroundings. You'll be working around different machines - Schubert's, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and chocolate candy banks/steels.Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs/ladders, and routinely lifting 50 lbs.Temperature. You will be comfortable year-round with our climate-controlled environment. Our temperatures are consistently around 63°F but could fluctuate depending on your specific role.Smell. You will enjoy a variety of deliciously sweet aromas and you may end your day smelling like chocolateDress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for food safety, personal safety, and guidance with our good manufacturing practices (GMP). Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
