Position Responsibilities:Evaluating new patients, developing plans of care, and setting measurable, functional goalsTreating patients, answering their concerns, and educating patients and family members on their injury or condition, progress to reach desired goals, and probable outcomesMonitoring patient response to treatment and intervention, modifying as necessary to meet the needs of the patient and attain goals in accordance with treatment plans and physician ordersExhibiting behaviors and practices which foster effective professional and therapeutic relationships with patients, family members, and team members Cooperating with all staff, management, and physicians to safely achieve goals and maintain good employee, interdepartmental and public relationsConsulting with treating physician and cultivating effective relationships with referral providersDirecting and supervising treatments provided by aides, assistants, and/or techsDocumenting patient evaluation, re-evaluations, daily progress reports, treatments, and discharges of services in a timely manner; accurately recording billable servicesEnsuring the implementation of and compliance with all ORA policies, procedures, health and safety regulations Providing physical therapy services to patients in accordance with PT guidelines for professional practices and per ORA clinical policies and standardsRemaining current with all licensing, credentialing, and education as required by state and federal lawMaintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulationsJob Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirementsAbility to identify and implement components of physical therapy processes and high-level patient careExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staffKnowledge of personal computer applications and Electronic Medical RecordAdditional qualifications/skills as outlined in the full job descriptionEducation:Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical TherapyCurrent, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa and/or Illinois Experience:Previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcomeBenefits:Competitive CompensationGenerous Productivity Bonus StructureHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan & Profit SharingLicense and Dues ReimbursementContinuing Education StipendProfessional Liability CoverageORA Orthopedics is the Quad Cities' largest and most comprehensive orthopedic provider, proudly offering an integrated continuum of orthopedic care that includes orthopedic sub-specialty clinics, walk-in care at our Urgent OrthoCARE clinics, and diagnostic imaging, bracing, physical therapy, pharmacy and outpatient surgery.
