Service Parts Associate

Service Parts Associate Duties:

  • Prepare, assemble and package service parts and component orders for shipment.
  • May perform return authorization (RA) activities, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Operation of power tools and equipment to assemble parts per instructions.
  • Preparing and packaging components, parts and or material for shipment, preparing and applying address labels to packages, cartons, or crates.
  • Operation of material handling and fork truck equipment including picker, to transport various materials and parts.
  • Using computer to process transactions and maintain accurate inventory levels in inventory management system.
  • Hi-pot testing of service parts.
  • Communicating both via phone and email with internal/external customers.

Requires:

  • HS graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong work history.
  • Previous pick/pack/ship and assembly experience desired.
  • Fork truck trained or certified, or ability and willingness to learn and be trained on forklift equipment including picker equipment.
  • Previous training or experience reading/interpreting blueprints preferred but not required, as will provide training.
  • Basic keyboarding/computer skills in order to operate shipping system, as well as basic inventory knowledge.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting is required, up to 25 lbs.
