Alarm.com is seeking a motivated iOS Mobile App developer who wants to be part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing team. Those who join our team are expected to author engineering design proposals based on product management specifications, add connectivity with Alarm.com’s backend services, develop robust, accessible, and localized user interfaces alongside other client-slide logic, and provide ongoing technical guidance. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient and will exhibit a high degree of initiative in learning new technologies and methods to resolve challenges encountered during the project life cycle.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience 5+ years of relevant professional software development experience (Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, iOS SDK, API design) Strong object-oriented programming skills with experience writing code for a multi-threaded environment Strong advocate for Unit and UI testing using a variety of industry-standard technologies Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Other duties as assigned

NICE TO HAVE

Solid understanding of common iOS architectural patterns and programming paradigms (MVVM, POP) Familiarity with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core Aware of latest trends and updates on new upcoming technology advancements Experience with performance and memory usage tuning using profiling tools provided by Apple

Engage in researching, evaluating, and applying new technologies and methodologies to solve challenging problems. Take part in the entire project life cycle, from requirements development to deployment.
