Grant Writer - Holland, MichiganDISHER Talent Solutions is currently partnering with a faith-inspired non-profit on their part-time Grant Writer opportunity. This non-profit offers culturally relevant, transformative art and design experiences to teens from all backgrounds. Their mission is to cultivate creativity, build community, and empower students, in order to foster wholeness in a fractured world. In this role, you will support their development operations by researching funding opportunities and developing compelling grant proposals. This is a part-time role, approximately 15-20 hours/week. What you will get to do:Maintain grants tracker and populate with new and emerging prospects.Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and applications (including foundations, corporations, and government entities). Draft and submit grant reports to active funders as needed.Research databases and online resources for new grant opportunities. Build relationships with current and prospective funders.Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals.Maintain accurate records of submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.What will make you successful:At least 2 years of experience in grant writing with a demonstrated record of excellence.Experience with budgets, financial management, and reporting systems for budget of $250,000+.Proficient in Word processing and spreadsheet software(i.e. Google Docs, MS Office).Strong research skills with the ability to identify relevant funding sources.Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities.Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Passion for arts education and youth development.Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
