Are you experienced in manufacturing operations with a keen eye for optimizing workflows and equipment design? Do you possess a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for enhancing workplace safety and efficiency? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as an Ergonomics Specialist supporting a large manufacturing facility in Princeton, IN.
You'll receive training, support, and opportunities for professional development to help you succeed in this role Reinforce & expand your skillset by becoming Prevention and Health Improvement Technician (PHIT) SM
certified through ProgressiveHealth’s internal continuing education program.
What You'll Do:
Leading engaging Ergonomics Education/Training sessions to educate employees on proper ergonomics, lifting techniques, and body mechanics.
Working in an embedded client environment
Conducting thorough ergonomic risk assessments to recommend effective solutions tailored to site operations and job demands.
Assembling solution for both short and long-term risk reduction
Driving ergonomic improvement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and productivity.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating ergonomic insights into planning and decision-making.
Producing technical reports in a proficient and timely manner.
Promoting safe, healthy, and inspired workplace environments.
What You’ll Need:
A background in manufacturing processes and equipment, with hands-on experience in roles such as production team members/supervisors, process technicians, or quality control specialists
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills to effectively communicate ergonomic recommendations and collaborate with diverse teams.
A genuine passion for enhancing workplace wellness, productivity, and impacting team member's wellbeing.
