Ensure inventory is controlled and accurate through regular cycle counting and quarterly inventory audits..**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities*** Generates inventory study reports, evaluates usage trends and makes recommendations to for purchases.* Researches and resolves all slotting issues, adjustments, and discrepancies while also ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.* Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy by completing follow up to all previous inventory adjustments then completes and reviews cycle counts.* Creates and maintains items within CSI ensuring that entry is in approved format and has captured all necessary information.* Performs daily cycle count, completes variance research as required and makes necessary adjustments to balance inventory.* Leads quarterly inventory process and works with General Manager and Operations Manager to document variance notes and submit supporting journal.* Partners with regional support teams to create and define network standards. Supports sales team with ETAs, Specials and inventory related questions.* Tracks and recommends rolls that may be returned. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure that return was processed and cleared.**Nature and Scope*** Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.* Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.**Work Environment*** Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.* Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.**Education and Experience*** HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
